MCD 4 - Enterprise and Strategic Risk Management (C)
Embedding Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) into the business strategy is integral to organisations’ long-term value preservation and creation. Strategic risk areas need to be systematically identified and holistically assessed on the impact to the organisation and its ecosystem. Against the backdrop of a world marked by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA), organisations need to elevate the maturity of their ERM programme. And the key driving force is the board. This session is a deep dive into strategic risk areas that warrant attention at the director level and evolved practices to enable ERM.
