Professional Development
Professional development is at the core of SID’s mission to promote director learning and board effectiveness. We have a comprehensive curriculum that addresses the various stages of a director’s journey and supports the learning needs of directors in private, listed and international companies, as well as nonprofit organisations (NPOs). The Professional Development curriculum map sets out the available courses and e-learning for directors, with a NonProfit curriculum curated specifically for directors of NPOs.
The Listed Entity Director (LED) Programme is supported by the Singapore Exchange. It is a pre-requisite course for first-time appointees on boards of listed companies, to equip them with the skills and knowledge to execute their duties as directors effectively. The programme provides in-depth content substantiated with relevant case studies that focus on the specific learning needs of directors both at the individual level and as a board.
