SGA - SGOOD ADVANCED (NEW)

Course Description The SGOOD Advanced series is curated to deepen the directorship skills and competencies of NPO board directors. The advanced courses comprise several stand-alone modules aimed at bringing the competency of experienced directors to the next level. The facilitators are selected for their abilities to facilitate a deep dive into specific areas of competencies. The classes thrive on group sharing of perspectives and experiences, and debates on different points of view are to be expected.
Course Objectives
  1. Enhance understanding and update on key trends in NPO directorship matters.
  2. Offer alternative perspectives through a different set of lenses.
  3. Appreciate the complexities of problem-solving through debate and discussion.
  4. Learn though sharing of real-life boardroom experiences and issues, through use of case studies.

SGA3: Branding for NPOs.
SGA4: Cyber Security for NPOs.
SGA5: Fundraising.
SGA6: Five Things a NonProfit Director MUST Know.

Target Audience
Directors of nonprofit organisations (NPOs) seeking to sharpen their directorship skillsets.

Course Duration Half day.
Delivery Case studies and group discussion, facilitated by experienced professionals. Peer sharing and participation is part of the learning process. Preparation prior to class attendance may be required.
Cost
$400/module (excl. GST); $428/module (incl. GST).

This course is subject to approval for the VWOs-Charities Capability Fund (VCF) training grant. All exempt, registered charities and institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) can apply for VCF funding. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority to VCF-funded applicants.
