Christopher Napoli
Partner, Head of Middle East, Hakluyt
Mr Christopher Napoli is Partner and Head of Middle East at Hakluyt, where he advises boards and senior executives on geopolitical developments, strategic risk and market dynamics across the region. Prior to joining Hakluyt, he was a consultant with Oliver Wyman in Dubai, advising public and private sector clients on investment strategy, economic policy and transformation initiatives. He was an economist at the Centre for European Policy Studies and later served as Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham. His work focuses on the intersection of geopolitics, economics and business strategy.
Su Yin Anand
Independent Director, Hafnia
Ms Su Yin Anand is an independent director of Hafnia. She is concurrently the strategy and transformation leader for IBM Consulting, ASEAN and a senior adviser to the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation. She is also the co-founder of The Captain’s Table Maritime Innovation Challenge. Ms Anand is a dynamic leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology and innovation. After a distinguished career in litigation in Singapore and Hong Kong, she transitioned into commercial roles in shipping and mining, where she honed her ability to navigate complex global markets, manage high-stakes negotiations and drive transformative growth.
Shabbir Hassanbhai
Independent and Non-Executive Director, Jason Marine Group Limited
Mr Shabbir H Hassanbhai is an independent director at Jason Marine Limited. He is a distinguished entrepreneur, seasoned board member, mentor to family businesses, social worker and diplomat. He possesses extensive experience in strategic planning, corporate governance and emerging markets. Mr Hassanbhai has served on the boards of charitable organisations and listed and non-listed companies in the USA, UAE, India and Singapore, across sectors including marketing, manufacturing and logistics. He served as Singapore's Non-Resident Ambassador to Nigeria from 2007 to 2008 and founded the NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies. He was also a member of the Singapore-Oman Joint Committee. Mr Hassanbhai is an Associate of ACCA and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
Emily Poon
CEO-Designate, Singapore Institute of Directors
Ms Emily Poon is CEO-Designate of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). An accredited director, she serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Department of Communications & New Media at National University of Singapore, the Families for Life Council, and the executive committee of Singapore Management University’s LEAD Alumni Group. She has over 20 years of experience across the region in corporate leadership, reputation strategy and regional transformation. Prior to her appointment at SID, she served as Asia-Pacific President of Ogilvy Public Relations, where she led a 26-office regional network, oversaw digital and strategic transformation, and advised boards and senior management on stakeholder engagement, crisis management and geopolitical risk.
