A: Yes. The SGOOD Programme is pre-approved under the Charities Capability Fund (CCF) Training Grant. Exempt and registered charities, as well as Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs), may be eligible to apply.
Q: Which parts of SGOOD are eligible for CCF Funding?
A: CCF Funding is available separately for Part 1: e-Learning Modules and Part 2: In-Person Session. Participants may apply for CCF Funding for either one part or both parts, subject to eligibility and approval.
Q: Do I need to complete both Part 1 and Part 2 to receive CCF Funding?
A: No. CCF Funding is applied for and disbursed separately for each part. Participants only need to meet the completion requirements for the specific component for which CCF Funding has been applied. There is no requirement to complete both parts for CCF Funding to be disbursed.
Q: How much course fee support can eligible participants receive?
A: Eligible participants may receive up to 80% course fee support under the CCF Training Grant. Participants will only be required to pay the net course fee, after CCF Funding, directly to SID.
Q: Who can apply for the CCF Training Grant?
A: Applicants must be either:
- governing board members of charities,
- sub-committee members of charities with at least 6 months of service, or
- charity staff with an official designation and at least 6 months of service.
Q: What must I do for the CCF Grant to be disbursed?
A: For the grant to be disbursed, applicants must meet the CCF eligibility criteria, complete the relevant 2026/27 SGOOD Programme component, and have their application approved by the CCF Secretariat.
Q: Who will submit the CCF claim?
A: SID will manage the claims process with the CCF Secretariat on behalf of participants. Participants must submit all necessary details and supporting information required for the CCF Grant application after registration is complete.
Q: What happens if I do not submit the required CCF application details?
A: Participants who do not submit the necessary details required for the CCF Grant application will lose CCF Grant eligibility for the relevant programme component. In such cases, SID will invoice the participant for the remaining balance of the course fees.
Q: What happens if I do not complete the relevant SGOOD Programme component?
A: Participants who do not meet the completion requirements for the relevant SGOOD Programme component will lose CCF Grant eligibility for that component. In such cases, SID will invoice the participant for the balance of the course fees.
