Course description
SID members who complete all five Listed Entity Director (LED) Programme Core modules on the listed entity environment (Listed Entity Director Essentials; Board Dynamics; Board Performance; Stakeholder Engagement; Environmental, Social and Governance Essentials) and any two Elective modules on the work of the main board committees (Audit; Board Risk; Nominating; Remuneration) may opt to sit for the Qualified Listed Entity Director (QLED) Assessment. Candidates who pass the assessment will be awarded a QLED Certificate from SID to recognise that they have demonstrated mastery in foundational knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of boards and directors.
Course objectives

Evaluate the candidate’s learning of skills and knowledge covered in the LED Programme.
- Assess directors’ understanding of their duties on the board and major board committees, as well as regulatory, compliance and governance matters.
- Ensure that directors have sufficient knowledge that would guide them to act in the best interests of the company.

Format
The QLED Assessment is an open-book, computer-based assessment comprising 100 multiple choice questions. A set of the Corporate Governance Guides for Boards in Singapore will be provided for candidates’ reference during the exam. The pass mark is 75%.
