SPEAKERS

Chong Yoke Sin
SID Governing Council Member

Dr Chong Yoke Sin chairs the SID Women Directors Chapter. She has a keen interest in AI ethics advocacy and digital transformation. A board member of the Urban Redevelopment Authority and independent director of Wilmar International, Great Eastern Holdings, Anacle and Mount Alvernia Hospital, Dr Chong chairs the portfolio management committee of A*Star and the advisory council of the School of Computing and Information Sciences at Singapore Management University. She is a former managing partner of iGlobe and immediate past president of the Singapore Computer Society. She has served on the boards of SGEnable, NKF, Republic Polytechnic, Assisi Hospice, the CHIJ Schools board of management and Health Sciences Authority.

Jessica Cheam
Founder and Managing Director, Eco-Business

Ms Jessica Cheam is the founder and managing director of Eco-Business. She is recognised as a sustainability pioneer with two decades of experience in media, sustainable development and ESG issues globally. Ms Cheam serves as an independent, non-executive director for Wilmar International and Comfort DelGro. She chairs ComfortDelGro's Board Sustainability Committee and is a member of its Audit & Risk Committee as well as Wilmar's Board Sustainability Committee.  She holds
a CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and is Senior Accredited Director of the Singapore Institute of Directors and serves on its ESG Committee. She is also accredited with INSEAD’s Certificate of Corporate Governance and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors in Malaysia and the UK.

 

 


Tan Quanyie
SID Women Directors Chapter member


Ms Tan Quanyie is currently General Manager, Regional Strategy in Dai-ichi Life Group's regional headquarters in Singapore, where she leads the regional strategy for Australia, New Zealand and India. She has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry across APAC, managing diverse teams in different regions from Australia to Myanmar. She also serves as a director on the Board of RenewBuy, an insurtech in India.
